A Mesic airplant (prefering warm and wet) conditions, Tillandsia Punctulata originates from Mexico and Cental America. Its an easy to grow variety which thrives in the more moist rooms of the home, bathrooms and kitchens. From the dark purple, almost black base rise brighter green leaves. When in flower, the orange/red floral bract of this airplant supports a mulitude of deep purple, white tipped flowers. Tillandsia Punctulata prefers a slightly shaded position with plenty of air circulation.
